Minimum Order amount

Minimum order amount is currently £400



Booking fees/Security deposits

A date reservation for a Wedding Cake can be made for £100. This is to save the date only until a design and quote is agreed. 

If you are booking more than 8 months ahead the quote given will be given and finalised during your design consultation.

A rough guide quote can be provided if necessary to allow you to budget for your cake but the final quote will still be given at your consultation.

Full payment on your Wedding Cake order is required 4 weeks prior to delivery. These dates will be confirmed on booking.

Security deposits for stands vary with stand cost. Stands must be returned no later than 5 days after the event and in the original condition, for a full refund of the deposit.

If Eat My Muffin Bakery is required to collect without prior agreement stand deposit is forfeit.

If Eat My Muffin Bakery is required to clean the stand returned a fee of £25 will be taken from the deposit.

Delivery

All wedding cakes are delivered and set up by Eat My Muffin Bakery. This ensures your cake arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Delivery is charged £1 per mile, round trip, a small time cost for set up is included in the cake cost if your venue would exceed this Sarah will let you know and discuss the extra cost.

Cancellations

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order please email sarah@eatmymuffinbakery.co.uk

Orders cancelled within 14 days of paying your booking fee will receive a full refund unless work has already started on the order.

Orders cancelled after 14 days from paying your booking fee will lose their fee.

Orders cancelled within 6 months of booking their wedding date are not entitled to any refund for any amounts paid.

Orders Cancelled within 3 months of the balance due date will be liable for the full balance owed.

In the unlikely event I need to cancel an order I will give as much notice as possible, arrange a suitable replacement with your agreement or refund all monies.

Design

I will strive to create your cake exactly to the design description given, however the design may need to be altered for it to work on the cake. It will be as close as possible to the original design.

All cakes are hand crafted, because of this there may be slight variations in colour and the overall look of the cake.

If you need to change the design of your cake, please let me know as early as possible to ensure the change can be accommodated.

Wedding Cakes designs may be amended up to 4 weeks before the wedding delivery date. 

Please be aware that the price may change due to the work needed. This can go up or down.

Publication and Advertising

Photos taken of your cake by Eat My Muffin Bakery belong to Eat My Muffin Bakery and will feature the company logo.

The photos can appear on our website, Facebook page and any other social media accounts we hold.

The photos may be used in future publications or advertising.

Should you send any photos to Eat My Muffin Bakery i.e. the cake cutting, this will be seen as permission to share on our website and social media accounts - These will not be submitted to a publication without your permission.

Returns and Problems

In the unlikely event there is a problem with your cake and you wish to return it, call 07775874382 at the earliest opportunity. Clearly explain the problem. There will need to be at least 75% of the cake left if a refund is required. These are only available if Eat My Muffin Bakery is at fault.

Eat My Muffin Bakery is not responsible for any damage after delivery and set up. However, if the cake is slightly damaged by a venue don’t panic. Contact me and I will try and advise on how to fix it. For example if a decoration has detached from the cake chances are it can re-attached easily.

Cake care

Should any cake be left over from your wedding please follow the below advice. 

Please store your cake in the cake box provided (this will be handed to your venue) in a cool room away from direct heat and out of direct sunlight.

Please carry your cake supported from underneath the box/board. Heavy cakes can bow in the middle and supporting it properly will prevent any issues.

Please do not place your cake in the fridge, as this dries out the sponge and causes the icing to sweat.

Once the cake is cut wrap any cut edges in cling film to preserve the freshness.

The cake is best eaten within 3 days of delivery. However it can last up to a week when cared for correctly.

Should you need to transport your cake you will need to make sure it travels flat.

The car boot is ideal as long as there is nothing stored that could cause damage. You can also place in the foot well but ensure any heat is directed away from the cake.

Allergens

Please note that all my cakes contain Egg, Milk, Gluten (Wheat Flour) and Nuts where applicable to the recipe. All cakes are produced in a kitchen where nuts are present.

We are unable to to certify any product is allergen free.

Privacy Policy

At Eat My Muffin Bakery we take your privacy seriously and will only use the data you have shared with us to administer your account while your enquiry and order is active.

Once the enquiry or order is complete we will not contact you further.

Your details will never be shared with a 3rd party company

CCTV is in use on the premises for preventing and investigating crime. Only when necessary would this be shared with the police.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and have physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to safeguard the information we collect.

The website collects cookies but these are not used by Eat My Muffin Bakery - please see 1&1 privacy policy for how these are used.

Cookies are used by the website hosting service but are not available for Eat My Muffin Bakery to view or use.
